Quality assurance

A strict supplier evaluation system, continuous on site visits and audits support our purchasing in the procurement of high-quality products. Initial samples as well as series components are tested to the specification and requirements by our QA team and documented.

USD constantly invests in quality and safety, so that today in the two temperature-controlled measuring rooms, modern measuring equipment such as 3D-coordinate measuring, optical measuring machines, hardness testers, spectrometer and other standard measurement and test equipment are available to ensure consistently good product quality.

Our test facilities meet the guideline VDI/VDE 2627, grade 3.

Quality management

The sales success of USD is closely linked to the constant quality of our products. Since 1998 USD is certified according to ISO 9001:2008 and since 2018 according to ISO 9001:2015 and has implemented actions with regard to environment and safety at work. Constant development and review of our Quality Management System respond to an ever-changing market with increasing requirements.

Our internal auditors, qualified and experienced, evaluate and optimise internal processes. Positive audits of reputable clients and certification companies confirm the effectiveness of our management system.
